I started learning photography at a young age. As a teenager, my parents purchased me my very first camera and lens. It is still hard to believe that I started out learning photography with a film camera. Can you say difficult? It was frustrating at times and hard to learn. It is amazing how far we have come with technology. Today, I am thankful for the digital camera my family got me as a very special birthday present. It was great to finally move away from my film camera. To be able to see a shot right away and make the necessary changes.

As a teenager, I spent time practicing on our pets. Mostly our dogs and horses. I also would pack that camera into the mountains to capture the amazing scenery that Montana has to offer. Some of my favorite photos to this day is from backpacking trips.

Today, I have multiple lenses, that allow me to better capture different settings. I like to photograph horse shows and cattle. I got my start with cattle, taking photos of our bulls for our family's annual bull sale. My collection of photos today encompasses landscape, livestock, family photos, portraits, and events.

I am so thankful to get the opportunity to create fun and meaningful images.
